HIII! My name is Cali Scholes
I picked up a camera for the first time in 2016. What started as just a yearbook class, turned into a full-blown passion for me. I slowly worked my way into second shooting weddings in 2020, and now I have grown incredibly passionate about capturing love and memories like keepsakes that will last a lifetime. Nothing makes me feel more giddy than the idea of an old married couple with my photos on their mantel, showing their children and grandchildren photos of their love that I captured.
Fun Facts about me
I am OBSESSED with all things cats!
I have loved cats from as long as I can remember. I begged my parents for one as a child, after that I have always had a cat in my life. Nowadays, I love anything cat themed. (Yes, please send me pictures of your cat I will cry about them).
I am IN LOVE with Travel & Nature
I would say about 90% of my bucket list has to do with travel. I love the idea of experiencing new cultures, learning new languages, and immersing myself. I am also just obsessed with animals and plants and things, so going out into nature and capturing photos is a dream (wink, wink).
I graduate from College in May 2024!
I currently attend university for Graphic Communications with minors in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship & Innovation (makes sense, right?)
I have A TON of houseplants
My goal is to turn my house into a makeshift jungle! My favorite plant that I own would have to be my Dorotheanthus Mezoo Vine. She is GORGEOUS and blooms the cutest pink flowers in the summer.
Scholes Photo is my pandemic baby
What started as a hobby for me flourished into something more when I began second shooting for weddings in 2020. Though it was difficult to pursue during a pandemic, I am incredibly grateful that I did.
